Qatar Sports Arbitration Tribunal (QSAT) has published on its website the awards issued since its operation commenced . Such step is in line with the best international best practices in force in all arbitration institutions, especially sports arbitration, through which it seeks to ensure that all are aware of the legal rules that are established through the QSAT’s awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On this occasion, Mr. Ibrahim Khalil Al-Muhannadi, President of Qatar Foundation for Sports Arbitration, stated that “publishing the awards issued by the Qatar Sports Arbitration Tribunal ensures building a database of legal precedents and rules established by the QSAT which are easily accessible.” Mr. Al-Mohannadi added, “The publication of rulings contributes to creating a transparent environment that contributes to raising the legal awareness of the sports sector. It will also have an important role in facilitating the role of lawyers who represent disputes before QSAT.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Al-Mohannadi concluded his statement that the publication of the awards is in alignment with the best international standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
